•  Dedicated contributor to the scientific community, actively engaged in peer review and holding memberships in distinguished (invite-only) professional organizations. Reviewer for prestigious journals, including the Journal of Food Science, where candidacy for the review board is pending, as well as for Sustainable Chemical Engineering, Engineering and Applied Science Research.

•  Professional affiliations include lifetime memberships in the Indian Chemical Society (ICS) and Phi Tau Sigma, the Honor Society of Food Science and Technology, alongside active membership in the American Chemical Society (ACS) and the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT).

•  Recipient of the internationally competitive Mistletoe Research Fellowship ($10,000) and further distinguished as the Winner of the start-up pitch competition.

•  Advanced molecular-level studies spanning catalysis, polymers, and waste derived bio-materials; produced high-impact first author publications, book chapters, research reports and mentored graduate researchers.

Industry Scientist (Start-up Setting)– MPP Group LLC and Insys Therapeutics (2015-2018)

•  Oversaw analytical method development, quality documentation, and cross-departmental product development; liaised with vendors and contract manufacturers.

Mentorship Experience

Directed chemistry and biochemistry instruction and served as Faculty Lead for the Student-Retention Office. Designed comprehensive syllabi, laboratory manuals, assessment rubrics, and grading workflows; transmitted final grades & course reports to the registrar; and authored new inquiry-based lab experiments. Administered the university’s content-management platform (LMS) for STEM courses. As a member of the University-Industry Research-Excellence Committee, co-developed blueprints for coalition research centers, and leveraged personal research funds to purchase analytical instrumentation, launching an on-campus student research center.

Implemented active, inclusive pedagogy (student-evaluation average4.73/5); secured undergraduate research funding and supervised students through to poster presentations and award-winning projects. Served as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the historic first HBCU in USA.
